Bought a Scag Tiger II commercial grade mower for a residential property about 3 months ago. With only 21 hours on the mower, the engine caught fire, destroying the throttle cable and a wiring harness.
After a 4-6 week battle back and forth with SCAG, they still refused to cover the labor, a whopping $280. What a terrible company to deal with, awful customer service, and not to mention a defective product. You'd think when you spend almost $15,000 on a mower, the manufacturer would stand by their product. Disgusting.
Take your business to EX-mark or Husqvarna, they'll probably treat you better...Do not buy from SCAG. What a terrible company.
